Leah joined the Brief Claims in early 2023 after 7 years of experience working in Human Resources for the public sector. Before joining the Brief Claims team, Leah worked at a University where she progressed from HR Apprentice to HR Business Partner, working in various HR teams. She joined the Brief Claims looking for a fresh challenge and a different work environment. Leah’s role is to embody the Brief Claims culture, be responsible for the well-being of the workforce and attract new talent whilst working towards the firm’s People Strategy. When Leah started at the Brief Claims she wanted to be referred to as Head of People Management as HR doesn’t always have the best reputation within organisations and, as the firm’s motto is People before Profits she wanted to ensure this was the same for staff as well as clients.
Leah enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going to the gym or Pilates. She also owns her own party venue which occupies a lot of her free time at the weekend.
