Karen joined the Brief Claims in early 2022 as an audit and compliance solicitor, before rising to compliance team manager. Since then, Karen has progressed to become the firm’s COLP and Director of Compliance.
Before joining the Brief Claims, Karen was an Associate at a top 50 national law firm, managing a team of lawyers specialising in litigation for major tour operators, businesses and insurers. Prior to this, she worked at a law firm specialising in representing claimants in serious personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Karen has enjoyed working in legal services for over 30 years, with an outstanding record of delivering a high standard of service to her clients, whether corporate entities or individuals.
Karen is dedicated to promoting a culture of legal excellence and compliance and works closely with all teams at the Brief Claims to support them in meeting the highest regulatory standards with exceptional client care.
Outside of work, Karen values quality time with her family. She is also a keen gardener and vegetable grower and has recently completed an RHS Qualification in horticulture.
